Construction and Remodeling Contractor in Arizona
So you have a remodeling project sitting in the back of your mind. Maybe a kitchen that has not been touched since your kids were small, maybe a bathroom that works fine but does not feel like yours yet. Either way, finding an expert remodeling contractor in Arizona who actually shows up, finishes the work, and treats your home like it matters takes some digging. West Coast Painting and Construction LLC has been doing this work in the Mesa area since 1978, which means we have spent decades watching trends come and go while focusing on the parts of remodeling that actually hold up over time. Anyway, this page should give you a sense of how we work and what to expect if you decide to give us a call.

What Mesa Homeowners Say
A Local Company With Real Roots in Mesa
Our office sits on S Drew St in Mesa, and we have been part of this community for more than 45 years. That kind of staying power matters more than people think. Local contractors understand local weather, local building codes, and the way Arizona homes settle and shift after a few summers of monsoon rains and brutal heat. You are not getting a national franchise; routing your call to some regional manager three states away. You are talking with our team directly, often with one of our project leads, and you get answers without the runaround.
Our company holds three active Arizona ROC licenses, numbered 219500, 219501, and 219502, and we carry full insurance on every job. Some of our clients have been with us for 15 years and longer, calling us back every time something around the house needs attention. That kind of relationship does not happen by accident; it happens because we treat the work and the people the same way every single time.

Kitchens and Bathrooms, the Two Rooms That Carry the Most Weight
Right, so kitchens and bathrooms. These rooms wear out the fastest, and they are the ones future buyers look at hardest. A well-done kitchen remodel can shift how your whole house feels, not just how it looks. Our team handles the full scope of kitchen work, from layout planning to cabinetry, surfaces, lighting, and the finish work that ties everything together. Whether you want a small refresh or a full overhaul of the room, we can scope the project around your goals and your budget.
Bathrooms are a different animal entirely. Plumbing, ventilation, and waterproofing, every layer has to be handled correctly, or you end up with mold issues two years down the line. Our crew has the experience to manage tile, fixtures, vanities, and shower work, with the kind of attention to waterproofing details that protect your home long after we leave. The finished room has to look beautiful, sure, but it also has to function for the people using it every single day. We aim for both.
Our Process From Consultation to Completion
Quick rundown on how a project moves through our shop. You reach out, usually after finding us on Google or through a friend who used us before, and we set up a consultation at your house. Free, no pressure, no high-pitched sales talk. We walk through your space, listen to your vision, take measurements, and ask plenty of questions about your budget and timeline. From there, we put together a fair price quote with the scope spelled out clearly so there are no surprises later.
Once you sign off, we schedule the start date around your life, not ours. Demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, paint, finishing touches. Each step gets handled by a crew member who knows that step well. You get regular updates, photos along the way if you want them, and a real point of contact who actually picks up the phone when you call. At completion, we walk through the finished work with you and address any small concerns before we close out the project. Communication stays prompt the whole time, which honestly is half the battle with most remodels.
Why Mesa Homeowners Keep Calling Us Back
A few reasons come up over and over in our conversations with repeat clients. Communication tops the list. People are tired of contractors who go silent for days at a time, and we made a point of fixing that years ago. Our pricing also stays where we said it would. If something changes mid-project, like when we open a wall and find old wiring that needs replacing, we tell you right away and walk through your options before we touch anything.
Quality of work is another big one. Our team takes pride in the craft, and you can see it in the corners, the trim, and the way tile lines up at the seams. Cheap remodels look cheap from day one. Good remodels look better the longer you live in them, and that is the kind of work we want our name attached to. Our dedication to doing things right the first time has built up a customer base that protects our reputation by referring us to neighbors and family.
Service Areas Across the East Valley
Our remodeling work covers Mesa, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, and most of the greater Phoenix Valley. If you are not sure whether your house falls inside our area, just call. The home you bought, the property you are flipping, and the rental you want refreshed before new tenants move in, all of it falls inside our usual range of work. We have been serving these neighborhoods for more than 45 years, so chances are we have already done a job a few streets away from you.
